Half-term camp for ages 8 to 16
Sport, boxing, a sports day, a FIFA tournament, and arts and crafts, 10am to 3pm each day. £40 a day or £150 for the week, open to Sheffield and Doncaster. Doncaster-funded short breaks sessions too.

The camp starts on Monday 26 October 2026 at 10am and runs until Friday 30 October.
Alternative provision for the young people mainstream can no longer reach
We work with young people in Sheffield, from Key Stage 3 to post-16, who are excluded, at risk of exclusion or struggling to attend school. Every young person who comes to Care Cove has a story. We meet them where they are, without judgement, and build a plan around who they can become.
Short breaks for disabled children and young people
As well as our alternative provision, we offer short breaks in Sheffield for children and young people with additional needs. Time for fun, friendships and new experiences, and time for parents and carers to rest.

Our Vocational Academy turns interest into identity. From carpentry, bricklaying and electrical basics to photography, podcasting and web design, young people gain recognised qualifications and a portfolio they're proud of.

Referral & conversation
A school or local authority makes a referral. Before anything else, we listen to the young person's history, needs and hopes.

Assessment & plan
We build a personalised plan around academic gaps, SEND needs, interests and EHCP outcomes, agreed with everyone involved.

Settling in
A carefully-paced start with a named key worker, so trust and routine are established before we push for pace.

Learning & growing
Core curriculum, vocational qualifications, sport and therapy come together. Progress is reviewed and celebrated regularly.

Next chapter
Reintegration to mainstream, a college place, an apprenticeship or employment with the confidence to succeed there.

We know a referral often comes at a point of crisis. Our admissions process is quick, human and thorough with clear communication and robust safeguarding from day one. Schools, academies, local authorities and virtual schools can refer, and parents and carers are welcome to ask.
